This is the current pricing for authors looking to hire out in 2026

Character Art - $250

This price includes two characters, no background

Backgrounds - $150-$500

This is charged based off of complexity, please provide detailed images in your brief of what you are wanting at the time of contact for me to provide an accurate quote.

Book Covers - $1000 - $1500

I currently offer two options for book covers:

eBook - $1000

This is perfect for authors who are publishing directly to KU or other eBook platforms. Cover includes full piece of art, graphic design and all formatting.

Full Wrap - $1500

This option is for authors who are releasing their book not only on KU, but also for print. This package includes full cover design including art, text, etc. all formatting for book distribution and separated files for marketing.

As of 2026 I currently charge a one time licensing fee of $100 ONLY to authors looking to sell prints of art.

In 2027 licensing will be included in price.

Leaning into my DEEP customer service background, I try and provide a reliable and smooth experience for all clients looking to work together.

Once your commission has been accepted and your place in the queue has been confirmed you are expected to send a detailed brief two weeks prior to starting the piece. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of commission.

Commission queues reset on the 15th of every month. Incoming clients will be sent an invoice that is to be paid before starting work the day before their window begins.

All payments are split in half. The first half acts as a deposit - due upon starting work and is NON-REFUNDABLE. The second invoice is sent after work is completed/approved and must be paid BEFORE final files are sent.

Check-ins:

For your peace of mind I provide three guaranteed check-ins. I will be in touch through the duration of the commission, especially as questions arise, but these three require approval to move forward with the piece.

1. Sketch - I will provide a few sketches to choose from based off of the brief provided by the author.

2. Flats - Once the sketch is approved we move on to the flat color phase. This is where I send a roughly colored version of the piece with no shading or rendering completed. This is to make sure I am catching the vision and visualizing the same color profile. These colors do change slightly in the rendering process, but not drastically.

3. Final Render update - I send one update just before the piece is final just to make sure you are liking the direction of the render. Usually I will leave small details unfinished in this update such as, shoes, background details etc.

Once the piece is finished I will send a screenshot of the piece to make sure everything looks correct. If there are no corrections an invoice will be sent for the final payment. Once that is received final files will be sent.

Unless previously communicated, all files are sent in a PDF and a high res jpeg of all art to the email provided.

No.

No Ai is or ever has been used in my process.

In addition to this, I do not accept Ai references as part of the brief either. If you send Ai references you will be asked to provide different materials.

Failure to comply may result in cancellation of project and loss of your deposit.

I as the artist reserve the right to refuse service to authors or publishers I believe are using Ai in any stage of the production of their novel and marketing.
